Dita Fari saw Bob Marley in 1980 on one of his last concerts in Dortmund. The Inspiration from that day gave him power to follow the History of the Rastafari-Movement for more than 25 years. During this long journey Dita Fari was working as a socialworker and songwriter teaching school-drop-out-children.
The official stage carrier of IDITAFARI FAMILY started in the year 2000 playing a Benefit-Concert for croatian children in Split (Croatia). On shows brother Anton G. from Poland plays also rootsguitar.

The music is pure creative reggae inspired from the classic bands of Jamaican yesteryear . Not only do they have their own unique sound and way of recording one can hear a wonderful mixture of inspirations coming through in their vibes

What stands out to us is their sheer belief and commitment to their cause and sound. Absolute roots inspired and delivered with authority.
We were overjoyed that the band chose to deliver a tune exclusively for the Springline archive “Spring Water” and this tune appears upon this special digi EP
Which is being sent out to selected spars and DJ’s as a promotional package via SpringlineRecords’ new label JAH URBAN SOUND.
Last month (March) saw a complete Iditafari music showcase on our internet station UPRISING RADIO with in the first two weeks of the month over 1000 launches of the stream.
